Tip: Kindle devices read EPUB via “Send to Kindle” and AZW3/MOBI directly; Kobo and most other readers prefer EPUB; PocketBook and many Russian-language libraries use FB2.
Frequently asked questions
Which format should I choose for Kindle?
For sending by email or the Send to Kindle app, use EPUB. For copying over USB, use AZW3 (modern) or MOBI (older Kindles).
Can you convert DRM-protected books?
No. Books with DRM (copy protection) cannot be converted. Only DRM-free books are supported.
Why does a PDF convert badly?
PDF stores fixed pages, not flowing text, so converting it to EPUB or FB2 can break paragraphs, especially for scans and multi-column layouts. Converting to PDF works much better.
How long are my files kept?
The uploaded book and the result are deleted automatically one hour after conversion. You can also delete them right away with one click.
What is the maximum file size?
Up to 50 MB per book, which is enough for nearly all ebooks, including illustrated ones.
