Vocal remover: split a song into instrumental and vocals
Upload a song and get two tracks: the instrumental without the voice (for karaoke or covers) and the isolated vocals.
Up to 6 minutes per track, 3 tracks per day. Separation runs on a CPU and takes about as long as the song itself — keep this page open. Only upload music you have the right to use.
Your files are uploaded over an encrypted connection, processed automatically and permanently deleted after 1 hour. Nobody looks at them. Free, no sign-up, no watermark.
How to use
- Choose a song (MP3, WAV, FLAC, M4A, OGG or a video) up to 6 minutes long.
- Pick MP3 (smaller) or WAV (lossless).
- Press Start. You will see your place in the queue and the remaining time; separation takes about as long as the song.
- Listen to the result and download the instrumental and the vocals.
Separation uses an MDX-Net model from the open-source Ultimate Vocal Remover project, running on our server. Jobs are processed one at a time, so at busy moments you may wait in a queue — the page shows your position.
Please process only music you own or have permission to use. Files are deleted automatically one hour after processing.
Frequently asked questions
How good is the result?
For most modern pop, rock and hip-hop tracks the voice is removed very cleanly. Heavy reverb, choirs and live recordings can leave faint traces of vocals.
Why does it take several minutes?
AI separation is heavy computation. On our servers it takes roughly as long as the song plays, plus your time in the queue.
Are there limits?
Tracks up to 6 minutes and 3 tracks per day for free users.
Can I use the instrumental commercially?
Only if you hold the rights to the original song. Removing vocals does not change who owns the music.
Are my files kept?
No. The song and the results are deleted automatically one hour after processing, or immediately when you press “Delete from server now”.
